ENDING HOMELESSNESS THROUGH AFFORDABLE HOUSING
On any given night, we know that at least 600,000 people— seniors, veterans, families, youth and young adults—are experiencing homelessness in our country and around 40,000 in King County alone.
These numbers are staggering, but we know what works. Homelessness is a solvable problem.
The 1.7M nonprofits in the U.S. serve individuals and shape policy and every community in the country. They represent 10% of the workforce and 5.6% of the GDP. Strengthening the capacity of the sector strengthens our democracy.
